Should I double text her?

Verdict first

Double texting is fine once, after some time, with something new. It's needy when it's fast, repeated, or asks why she hasn't answered.

When it's fine

She went quiet mid-conversation, a day or more has passed, and you have something new to say. Life happens — sometimes she just forgot to reply.

When it's needy

Following up within hours, sending "hello?" or "??", or a third and fourth message. Each extra text moves you from interested to anxious.

What to send

Not a reminder of what she didn't answer — a fresh, easy topic:

Saw a dog in a tiny raincoat today and figured you needed to know
Finally tried the place you recommended. Okay, you have taste

After the double text

If she answers warmly, carry on like nothing happened — no "finally!". If she doesn't, stop. The silence is the answer.

Verdict

One fresh follow-up, never a reminder. Then the ball is hers.
