Dry texts mean low investment — in the topic or in you. Try one change of energy. If she stays dry, stop carrying the conversation alone.
What it means
Sometimes she's busy or just bad at texting. More often the topic is boring her, or she isn't that interested. One message tells you nothing — a pattern tells you everything.
Change the energy once
Drop the dying topic and bring play or a strong opinion:
Okay, this conversation needs saving. Hot take: cereal is a soup
One-word answers. I'm going to assume that means you're secretly very impressed
Let's skip the small talk — what's the best thing that happened to you this week?
Or skip straight to the date
Some people are dry over text and great in person. If there was chemistry before, just invite her — specific day, specific place.
Texting clearly isn't our thing. Drinks on Thursday instead?
Don't over-invest
Don't answer "ok" with a paragraph. Match her length. If she doesn't step up, she's told you what she wanted to.
